General Questions:

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that on my end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day.
No, I provide photography only. I prefer to do the absolute best job and provide the absolute highest quality of work for you, and there is no way that I could do that if I were trying to do two things at the same time. I am solely focused at your wedding on capturing beautiful photos that you will preserve in your album and frame on your walls.
Why should I be your wedding photographer? Because I will take care of you as if you were my family. I will help you craft a timeline that allows your day to be your day, just how you want it. Because I will be here for you, as a resource with almost one decade of experience. Because weddings can be stressful and overwhelming, and I will be right with you the entire time - I promise. If it rains, if it snows, if it gets dark early, if your venue is unexpectedly covered in scaffolding, if hair and makeup run late, if we get stuck in traffic - I've got you, and your images will still be amazing. My job is to take great pictures for you, yes, but also to help remove all of the stress from your wedding day so that you can enjoy it completely!
My assistant photographer functions as both a photographer and an assistant.
